Untitled-02

Let’s admit it. We all tried to change one time or the other. If you didn’t then you either have no clue of what your cons are and you will most likely never evolve, or you’re super fantabulous (just like me) and don’t need to change – which you should change anyway.

How do I say to not change an ounce (up – click on the psst click me thing, it’s right above my signature) and admit we all tried to change (well, except for the exceptions of course)? Simple. Everyone who tried to change, simply, failed to do so. Yup. Failed. He never could make the change he intended.

Let’s take an example. A person who quits smoking is a person we all believe has changed. But has he? Dig him a hole of shit and push him in and he’ll crawl back to a cigarette. Trust me, give it a try. What does that prove? Well, to me, it says that he only stopped smoking because of a certain reason, but has never actually got to *change* what he thought of smoking as an act (not healthy, etc).

Now reading again what I just wrote sounds like a person who only recently failed to change a thing and is trying to make it look as if he’s normal when _actually_ he’s just a hopeless case – not in a very bad way. No. Well, kind of yes but no on the long run if you know what I’m talking about (which I doubt).

Anyway, my point is: if you ever want to change, please, know what you want to change to, how you intend to change, and most importantly, do YOU really want to change? Because dude word of advice, falling down isn’t as easy as attempting to climb up.

ICE Campaign

November 28th, 2007 — 5:41pm

We all carry our mobile phones with names & numbers stored in its memory but nobody, other than ourselves, knows which of these numbers belong to our closest family or friends.

If we were to be involved in an accident or were taken ill, the people attending us would have our mobile phone but wouldn’t know who to call. Yes, there are hundreds of numbers stored but which one is the contact person in case of an emergency? Hence this “ICE” (In Case of Emergency) Campaign The concept of “ICE” is catching on quickly. It is a method of contact during emergency situations. As cell phones are carried by the majority of the population, all you need to do is store the number of a contact person or persons who should be contacted during emergency under the name “ICE” ( In Case Of Emergency).

The idea was thought up by a paramedic who found that when he went to the scenes of accidents, there were always mobile phones with patients, but they didn’t know which number to call. He therefore t hought that it would be a good idea if there was a nationally recognized name for this purpose. In an emergency situation, Emergency Service personnel and hospital Staff would be able to quickly contact the right person by simply dialing the number you have stored as “ICE.”

For more than one contact name simply enter ICE1, ICE2 and ICE3 etc. A great idea that will make a difference! Let’s spread the concept of ICE by storing an ICE number in our Mobile phones today!

Physics Quiz

November 11th, 2007 — 11:36am

Heh, it’s quite exciting your first *anything*, ey? I still remember my first project and the challenges I assigned myself. Having to work hard to show-off something (not necessarily exactly you) that you are proud to be. Like my first Math assignment I had to hand in, heh man did I take my time solving that – although it was MATH, like seriously, MATH (I was supposed to be the math wiz in school).

Today is our first Physics Quiz. The policy is that they give us three quizes of which they take the best two – to tell the truth, I’m quite scared regarding not doing good at this, not the physics, but this. The quiz is about significant figures and vectors – I can’t really count the number of times I was tutored those exact same topics before, nevertheless examined in.

Anyway, wish me luck. You can kindly start praying from 16:00 :D
